So all you are providing here is some unspecified different good and
evil.

What about the notion that imposing values - any values - is evil? The
original American style was all about individual liberty, voluntary
agreement, and limited government. This original vision has been
replaced with an ever greater imposition of the values of some at the
expense of others. Whereas perception of good and evil was to be left
to individuals it has been replaced by enforced state decrees.

Isn't self interest a part of human nature? Governments are tools for
some to exploit others - often "for the good of humanity" or The
Public Good.
