Rev - before you disappear from civilization, you should spend a weekend out
a the Castle B&B in Temecula - http://www.thecastlebandb.com/
Lil and I went there last year for our anniversary. The owner has a "wine
cellar" which also contains several dozens of whiskey types - Scotch,
Blended, Malt, Bourbon, Candadian and a few others.
After the guests retrun from daily activities (wine tasting, etc...) he'll
gather whomever wants and bring out the whiskey sampling. I got a great
lesson in whiskey and a much firmer appreciation for the drink.
I highly recommend it! We stayed in the dungeon room. ;P
