cheap gas

The State of Michigan should use tax dollars to:
1. explore for oil on state and private property.
2. drill the oil
3. build refineries to refine the oil into gasoline and diesel fuel.
4. sell the gasoline and diesel fuel at STATE gasoline stations.
If oil is discovered on private property, the state should pay the
property owner $10 for every barrel pumped. (this is more than the oil
companies now pay a property owner)
At $10 per barrel, how much do you think a gallon of STATE gasoline
would cost at the pump?
THE STATE could also make a small profit at the pump. The profit would
go towards paying for this enterprise.

p.s. The oil companies are currently drilling for oil on private
properties in Michigan. (There are wells going up right now near
Marshall, Mi).Do you think those companies are paying those property
owners the same amount per barrel as they pay OPEC?
If not- why doesn't gasoline refined from private wells sell for
less?
The only way it WILL sell for less is when THE STATE starts COMPETING
with the s.o.b. bastards in the Saudi Royal Family, in the government
of Equitorial Guinea... and the s.o.b. c.e.o.s at Shell, Exxon, Mobil,
Marathon.....who have been screwing us long enough!
