Oreck nightmare:

On TV Oreck advertised air filters saying you couldhave them in your
house for two months on a trial, no pay basis, and send them back if
you didnot want them. Two weeks after they arrived i got at bill from
their bank with a 20% interest, and they wanted immediate, monthly
payments.

In the the delivered box by UPS was a notice stating that to return
the filters, free of charge, all you had to do was put them back in
the box, and drop them off at UPS, which i did. UPS  said they
couldnot handle it, and wouldnot send them back. I called Oreck and
they said i needed a label. They didnot send the label. I called again
and they said i needed a label. I am still waiting for the label. No
label. That is only part of it. I had also ordered soap for cleaning
and they never sent the soap, nor the wall brackets i had ordered.

Now then: there is a small, tube-shaped, blue light in the back corner
of the box. This is a special, UV-type bulb for killing germs in the
air. All these UV-type bulbs have a warning telling you to do not look
at the bulb. These bulbs blind you, but it doesnot show up for 10
years. Youwill see in TB hospitals the bulbs are quite large, and
enclosed so that you cannot look directly at the bulb. However Oreck
doesnot have these UV bulbs enclosed. So 10 years from now maybe the
blind people will find out how it happened, but does Oreck care?
Hewill be dead by then from oldage, and his fortune dispersed, so who
do you sue?
