More or less as <Cole-va-nair>

"Say them, i beg you, what your crow said to the children of
Alost(Aalst in Flemish, the local language there) , Go to school, go
to school"

>Please teach me the meaning and the source of that latin phrase"corvus
>vester dicebat pueris Alostanis, Ad scholas, Ad scholas".

That was the meaning.
Although I am a Fleming myself, I don't know the origin of this
sentence. Some local people from this town may know.

I added the newsgroup news:be.history, since this is old stuff and
there one might find someones who knows.
